Refreshed availability to Europe via Singapore

Singapore has been a staple in routes to Europe from Australia for many years. Ideal for Qantas frequent flyers due to the beautiful lounge offerings. First-class and Business class classic rewards were always snapped up fast! Thanks to the significant release of reward tickets last week, there's now daily availability from 15 January to late March 2023 with return flights from February 7 to late March. Once in Singapore, frequent flyers can easily connect through to hubs, London, Paris and other European cities.

Routing from SYD to CDG via Singapore results in spending similar time in the sky flying via Dubai. This example routing needed a stopover in SIN to use classic rewards, resulting in a short 14-hour stay, but some options do not require this.

The routing includes a business ticket for the entire flight. Both flights will have full-service industry-leading products; QF51 is A330 business class offering 8 hours in the sky that will fly by in the stunning Qantas business suites, complete with a lie-flat bed. AF255 is a Boeing 777 Air France flight, offering a contemporary and spacious seat, direct aisle access for each passenger and a lie-flat bed.

The redemption comes in at 172,900 points and $539.39 in taxes. Similar routing, in paid fare Business class for the entire trip, is priced at $9,747. The classic reward redemption delivers $9207.61 in value ($9747 - $539.39) or 5.3 cents per point.

These classic reward fares will typically not appear in the standard search tool; it's essential to use the multi-city booking tool to get the best insights into availability.

Entries into the multi-city booking tool can list each stop and run an independent availability query for every leg.

If you're looking to travel in style and want to make the most of your Qantas points, consider Singapore as a transit stop on your way to Europe. With reduced taxes and increased availability compared to Dubai, it's a great time to book your trip.

Happy searching!
