A door opens to Thailand
Qantas has opened a wider door into Thailand for classic reward flyers heading to Thailand. Flying daily to Bangkok & Singapore, frequent flyers can now connect from a Qantas flight to a classic reward Bangkok Airways flight. Destinations include Phuket, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Koh Samui, Krabi and more. With a wealth of culture and activities, Thailand will keep you entertained, whatever your interests.
Qantas has so far released economy classic reward access to Bangkok airways fares. Frequent flyers that enjoy the finer things will find relief in Business class availability to hub locations, Bangkok and Singapore in April \ May 2023, with only the short connecting leg in economy.
Although the availability is there, this specific Business class, then Economy routing, isn’t yet enabled online. It’s best to find a classic award flight to Singapore or Bangkok online, then call the hotline to make the booking for your final Thailand destination.
Bangkok Airways is a full-service airline that includes meals, bar service and luggage on its fares. It is not part of the one world alliance, lacking benefits for Qantas frequent flyers.
Lounge access is available at Singapore, Bangkok and Bangkok airways lounges throughout Thailand for Business Class, Qantas Platinum One, Platinum and Gold frequent flyers booked on Qantas codeshare flights.
