Qantas Wine, a great way to top up

Anyone thats travelled on Qantas' premium cabin knows they know how to choose a wine. The Qantas Wine store gives access to a wide range of wines seen in the cabin, plus you can top up with bonus points as you drink. Depending on how you value your bonus points, the wine may even be free (in exchange for a business class classic reward seat). Lets check the maths;

The Sumptous Big Red Dozen costs $540 and comes with 20,000 bonus points, thats a cost of 2.7 cents per point. Points can be valued at between 1c and 3c so depending on how you spend those points. Your wine could come free.
