Perth part one, on Cathay to Dubai

Perth has become a gateway city for frequent flyers looking to redeem their points; a savvy frequent flyer can use Perth to expand their network and search opportunities for classic reward redemptions. For those that live outside of Perth, elsewhere in Australia, it's often a domestic flight over during the day, then a nighttime flight to your international destination. An international flight from Perth results in more time in domestic airspace for east coast travellers, quicker navigation through airport security & queues and shorter flights to Europe.

A hub for direct flights to Dubai, Doha, Hong Kong, Denpasar and London, locals and frequent flyers from other parts of Australia should consider using Perth in their routing to Europe. Qantas, Cathay Pacific, Qatar airlines and Emirates operate at least twice weekly flights out of Perth, often on large wide-body aircraft, including the A380.
